To create effective proposals which will allow all Michigan residents with a history of mental illness to have open access to Clubhouse services in their community regardless of their insurance status.

Several years ago, colleagues from Clubhouse Michigan realized there was an issue negatively affecting more than just a handful of individuals at one of the 40+ clubhouses located in Michigan. Instead, they believed an fairly large segment of our membership from clubhouses all over the state were being treated unfairly. A workgroup was formed to find a solution and provide advocacy for the affected colleagues.
