POSITION: CLUBHOUSE GENERALIST (SUPPORT SERVICES COORDINATOR) LOCATION: CADILLAC UNIT: CLUB CADILLAC SUPERVISOR: AMY KOTULSKI FLSA: EXEMPT HOURS: 1.0 FTE SALARY RANGE STAFF V: $48,553 – 57,053 Northern Lakes Community Mental Health Authority (NLCMHA) recognizes the value of and employs people with lived experience and believes strongly in Recovery and a Culture of Gentleness. Clubhouses are local community centers that provide members opportunities to build long-term relationships that, in turn, support that in obtaining employment, education and housing. Clubhouse Generalists have generalist roles and share employment, community support, evening/weekend/holiday, and unit responsibilities. Central to this role is the energetic engagement of members in all aspects of unit and Clubhouse operations. Generalists utilize the Clubhouse International Standards as best practice and follow the strengths-based and person-centered models to facilitate member engagement. Before applying please read: http://clubhouse-intl.org/documents/communities_eng.pdf ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS (listing Position Specific functions first):  Engage in the work-ordered day, and work alongside members performing the tasks of the unit (kitchen and clerical).  Assist members with all aspects of community support services including employment, education, and housing.  Assist members to define their needs and formulate clubhouse goals and objectives through Person-Centered Planning.  Conduct Clubhouse assessments and complete all necessary clinical paperwork.  Evaluate progress on Clubhouse goals and work with members to make appropriate changes to support personal success.  Participate in social recreation and wellness activities.  Co-manage Transitional Employment Placements including TE development, training and coverage as a job coach.  Provide coverage on a rotating basis for evening, weekend, holidays and social activities. LICENSING or CERTIFICATIONS:  Must have licensure with the State of Michigan as a Licensed Bachelors Social Worker. Limited Licensed Bachelors Social Worker accepted.  Must maintain licensure. MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:  Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited university.  One (1) year of experience in developmental disabilities or mental illness areas is preferred.  Working knowledge of mental illness, including previous relevant paid employment Positive, energetic, dynamic and engaging personality.

 Flexibility, as demonstrated by interchangeability with other staff on the unit, staying late or arriving early, if necessary, to fulfill unit or member needs.  Excellent organizational skills.  Team approach.  Must have valid Michigan driver's license. Ability to walk, bend, stand, sit, lift up to 25 lbs., with or without assistance, stretch/reach, hear, see, hand/finger dexterity and drive.
